Financial Services
Financial Services is one of four main strands/subject areas in which GM&WL LLN is developing qualifications.
The network includes sub-groups dedicated to progressing vocational qualifications in conjunction with all partner institutions, employer groups and professional bodies such as the AAT.
Potential qualifications within the financial services strand are currently being considered for validation and delivery, such as Foundation Degrees in Accountancy and Financial Services.

What do we mean by ‘Financial Services’?
Financial services is a term used to refer to the services provided by the finance industry. Financial services is also the term used to describe organisations that deal with the management of money. Accountants, banks, financial advisors, fund managers, investment banks, insurance brokers, insurance companies, mortgage brokers and providers, credit card companies and stock brokers, are examples of the types of firms comprising the industry, which provides a variety of money and investment related services.
